We are all concerned about state groundwater adjudication.  Inasmuch, I want to stress the value of this upcoming water forum by adding an additional note to the invitation that was sent out.

It is important that we are proactive and stay informed as much as possible.  We would like to use this opportunity to discuss controversial issues facing our industry including local groundwater control among others. Farmers will be stronger by joining together and working productively to reach a common goal– more water to the agriculture industry.

I encourage you to join us for the water forum to be held on Tuesday, April 29 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Kern Ag Pavilion located at 3300 East Belle Terrace (directly behind the Kern County Farm Bureau Office).
