Financial Assistance for Rent and Utility Bills

The County and City of Bakersfield’s Rental and Utility Assistance is now up and running.  To apply, please visit: https://rup.kernha.org/

  • Application methods include : Email, Phone, In-Person, Online
  • Landlords can receive 100% payment OR 100% payment to tenant if landlord is unreachable
  • Pays both rental and utility arrears and prospective rent and utilities
  • For renters only
