Saturday, February 15th the Building Healthy Communities Recreation Action Team will be partnering with many local partners, including the City of Arvin to plant 200 trees with 200 volunteers in one day!! By planting these trees you will help us build a healthier South Kern by improving our parks and our air quality. We will be planting trees at the following locations on February 15, 2014:

Lamont Park 8304 Segrue Rd. Lamont, Ca. 93241 9a-12p
Bear Mountain Recreation and Parks District* 10300 San Diego St. Lamont, Ca. 93241 9a-12p
Rexland Acres Park 325 East Fairview Rd. Bakersfield, Ca. 93307 9a-12p
As well as Smotherman and Kovacevich Arvin City Parks from 8:30a-12:00p!!
